Sports Lounge & Billiards Room

1. The Sports Lounge & Billiards Room is available for Residents anytime on a non-exclusive basis between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m. 7 days a week. For the private reserved use, only two bookings can be accepted per day.

   
   

2. The Sports Lounge & Billiards Room are for Da Vinci & Picasso Residents and their guests only. All guests must be accompanied by a Resident at all times.

   
   

3. The rental fee for private use of the Sports Lounge & Billiards Room is $100 per booking. Subject to availability and rule D.12, each strata lot is permitted to no more than one (1) booking per day, with a standard time slot of two (2) hours. A Resident, subject to availability, may request an extension of up to two (2) additional hours at a rate of $50 per hour. Any booking exceeding six (6) hours requires prior approval from the council. A damage deposit of $500 must be submitted to the Concierge Team prior to the booking.

   
   

4. Reservation of the Sports Lounge & Billiards Room will be accepted up to one (1) month in advance of the requested date.

   
   

5. No more than two (2) bookings per month and maximum of twelve (12) bookings per year, per strata lot unless otherwise approved by the strata corporation in writing.

   
   

6. To ensure fair access for all residents, non-exclusive usage of the Sports Lounge and Billiards Room is limited as follows:

   (a) Television use: maximum of 4 hours per strata lot per day.

   (b) Billiards table use: maximum of 2 hours per strata lot per day.

   
   

7. Maximum room capacity is 39 people.

   
   

8. There is no smoking (including vaping) or liquor permitted.

   
   

9. No food preparation is permitted in the Sports Lounge & Billiards Room. Light snacks are permitted.

   
   

10. A Resident using the Sports Lounge & Billiards Room must agree to comply with any restrictions imposed upon their activities, at any time, by the concierge or the strata manager in terms of noise, disturbance to other Residents or damage to the common areas.

    
    

11. If there are complaints about noise or inappropriate behavior, the Concierge may request the individual involved to leave.

    
    

12. Billiards tables are available for use daily hours.

    
    

13. If there are subsequent bookings, the time limit for use of the billiard table is one (1) hour.

    
    

14. A Resident must sign out pool balls and cues from the Concierge staff on duty before 8:00 p.m., and such Resident must return the pool ball and cues to the Concierge staff after use. If the booking Resident fails to return any of the sign out equipment, or any such equipment is returned damaged, the strata corporation may deduct the cost of repair or replacement, as applicable, from the damage deposit.

    
    

15. A Resident is required to clean up the Sports Lounge & Billiards Room after their use.

    
    

16. Food and/or drinks are not permitted on or around the billiard table.

    
    

17. All commercial/business gatherings including non-profit organizations in the Sports Lounge & Billiards Room shall be deemed a commercial function and will be subject to prior approval from the council.

    
    

18. No children under the age of 14 are permitted in the Sports Lounge & Billiards Room without supervision by a responsible person 19 years or older.

    
    

19. No pets are permitted in the Sports Lounge & Billiards Room.

    
    

20. Without limiting the generality of bylaw 41, a Resident is responsible for any loss, repairs, damages, and cleaning costs associated with their use of the Sports Lounge & Billiards Room.

    
    

21. Residents must vacate the room at the end of the reserved time. Overtime use may result in fines and/or suspension of amenity use privileges.
