Study Room

  1. The Study Room is opened daily from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m daily and must be vacated by 10:45pm. For the private reserved use, only two bookings can be accepted per day.


  2. The Study Room is for Da Vinci & Picasso Residents and their guests only. All guests must be accompanied by a Resident at all times.


  3. Maximum room capacity is 16 persons for the Study Room.


  4. The rental fee for private use of the Study Room is $20 per booking. Subject to availability, each strata lot is permitted to no more than one (1) booking per day, with a standard time slot of four (4) hours. Any booking exceeding four (4) hours requires prior approval from the council. A $500 damage deposit must be provided prior to use.


  5. Reservation of the Study Room will be accepted up to three(3) months in advance of the requested date and only one future booking can be made at a time under one strata lot.


  6. Cancellations will be accepted in writing to the Concierge ONLY.


  7. If the Resident is not present at the booking time, the booking may be cancelled and given to another Resident.


  8. The Study Room may be used for a Resident’s personal purposes only. No ongoing business or commercial activities are permitted. \


  9. There is no smoking (including vaping) or alcohol permitted. Light snacks are permitted.


  10. Children under 12 are not permitted in the Study Room without supervision by a responsible person 19 years or older.


  11. No pets are allowed in the Study Room.


  12. A Resident using the Study Room must agree to comply with any restrictions imposed upon their activities, at any time, by the Concierge or Property Manager in terms of noise, disturbance to other Residents or damage to the common areas.


  13. If there are complaints about noise or inappropriate behaviour, the Concierge may request the individuals involved to leave.


  14. A Resident using the Study Room is required to clean up the area after each use and return furniture to its original place.


  15. A Resident using the Study Room must ensure that all waste materials and recyclables (such as but not limited to packaging, food waste, beverage containers, etc.) are disposed of in the appropriate bins in the building’s Garbage Room so as to minimize smells and attracting of pests.


  16. Without limiting bylaw 41, a Resident is responsible for any loss, repairs, damages, and cleaning costs associated with their use of the Study Room.


  17. Fire exit door is to be kept closed at all times.


  18. Residents must vacate the room at the end of the reserved time. Overtime use may result in fines and/or suspension of amenity use privileges.
