Karaoke / Music Room

  1. The Karaoke/Music Room is available for private reserved use only, for Residents between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m. daily and must be vacated by 10:45p.m. For the private reserved use, only two bookings can be accepted per day.


  2. The Karaoke / Music Room is for Da Vinci & Picasso Residents and their guests only. All guests must be accompanied by a Resident at all times.


  3. Subject to availability, each strata lot is permitted to no more than one (1) booking per day, with a standard time slot of four (4) hours. Any booking exceeding four (4) hours requires prior approval from the council and is subject to availability. A $800 damage deposit must be provided prior to use. Access fob must be signed out through the Concierge.


  4. Reservation of the Karaoke / Music Room will be accepted up to one (1) month in advance of the requested date.


  5. No more than two (2) bookings per month and maximum of twelve (12) bookings per year, per strata lot unless otherwise approved by the strata corporation in writing.


  6. These Rooms may be used for recreational purposes only. No business or commercial activities are permitted.


  7. Maximum room capacity is 18 persons for the Karaoke / Music Room.


  8. Light snacks only are permitted in the Karaoke / Music Room. Smoking or vaping is not permitted.


  9. Children under 12 are not permitted in the Karaoke / Music Room without supervision by a responsible person 19 years or older.


  10. No pets are allowed in the Karaoke / Music Room.


  11. Music may be played at a volume which does not disturb other Residents.


  12. A Resident using the Karaoke / Music Room must agree to comply with any restrictions imposed upon their activities, at any time, by the Concierge or Property Manager in terms of noise, disturbance to other Residents or damage to the common areas.


  13. If there are complaints about noise or inappropriate behaviour, the Concierge may request the individuals involved to leave.


  14. A Resident is required to clean up the Karaoke / Music Room after their use and return furniture to its original place.


  15. A Resident using the Karaoke / Music Room must ensure that all waste materials and recyclables (such as but not limited to packaging, food waste, beverage containers, etc.) are disposed of in the appropriate bins in the building’s Garbage Room so as to minimize smells and attracting of pests.


  16. Without limiting the generality of bylaw 41, a Resident is responsible for any loss, repairs, damages, and cleaning costs associated with their use of the Karaoke / Music Room.


  17. Fire exit door is to be kept closed at all times.


  18. Residents must vacate the room at the end of the reserved time. Overtime use may result in fines and/or suspension of amenity use privileges.
